Coriander leaves also called Chinese parsley or Cilantro, and its Indian names include Dhane sag, Kothmer, Hara dhania, Kothambari soppu, Daaniwal, Kothamalli, Kothimbir, Dhania, Kothimiri. All parts of the plant are edible but the leaves are used widely. The leaves are made into chutneys, in soups and salads, but widely used as garnishing.
